Gen Z Insights: April 2023

March was a fun month with the 98Strong team traveling to Expo West & Shoptalk. It was great to connect with clients, gather key insights on the hottest trends in our industry and engage with new brands & agencies looking to access Gen Z. With so much innovation and buzz coming from these key events, we thought it would be valuable to share the hottest trends on US college campuses.


This month's infographic worked with our community of Student Athletes to survey and learn what is most popular on campuses across the country. Other features of this month’s insights include our Student Athlete Spotlight: Doryn Smith - who continues to do fantastic work for our brand partner, Brooks. Also, April’s client case study features month one of our year long Brooks partnership. The 50 amazing NCAA Student Athletes involved averaged an eye popping 19% engagement across social media - nearly 7X the industry average.

Our brand partner, Brooks, has understood the value of 98Strong Student Athletes since the early days of NIL. As Gen Z continues to be a priority consumer audience for Brooks, 98Strong has continued to support their growth across hard to reach college markets.
