Gen Z Insights: November 2024

The results are in! This month’s survey sheds light on how Gen Z approaches Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and the findings are fascinating. The majority of shoppers in this group prefer a hybrid approach, combining both online and in-store shopping to snag the best deals. Unsurprisingly, discounts and deals reign supreme as the primary motivator, with electronics taking the top spot as the most sought-after category, followed closely by fashion and beauty items.

Black Friday 2024

Most Gen Z shoppers reported spending between $50 and $150, with price and discounts being the biggest influencers in their purchasing decisions. Social media promotions and influencer recommendations also played a key role. When it comes to where they shop, major retailers like Amazon, Target, Walmart and company website. Gen Z is clearly savvy, strategic, and ready to make the most of the biggest sales of the year. Check out the full results below.

“Guayaki was a wonderful brand to work with, providing me with lots of product to share and endorse and making the content very straightforward to create. 98Strong helped so much in streamlining the process and helping facilitate the content posting and deal!”
