Gen Z Insights: November 2022

We are just one week away from Thanksgiving and that brings us into hyper-mode to hit our goals for Black Friday, Cyber Monday as we roll into the Holiday buying season. Knowing that this is a top priority for many of you we surveyed over 500 NCAA student athletes from the 98Strong community about their Holiday shopping habits for this month's infographic

Additionally, we had a tremendously successful activation at last month’s Advertising Week in New York with a dedicated infographic on the Mind Body Balance of NCAA Student Athletes and our signature panel session with myself, Brendan Gahan at Mekanism, Steven Vigilante at OLIPOP, Niko Katsuyoshi, wrestler at Harvard University and Kyla Hill, Track & Field star at Fordham University from our growing community of student athletes with Phoebe Bain of Morning Brew moderating the panel.

We know how important it is to gain trustworthy real-time data, that is why we provide our monthly infographics to highlight what the NCAA student athlete thinks and does on a range of topics. This month we wanted to provide some specific insight to this elite subset of Gen Z’s view on Holiday Shopping. The survey questions featured for November's Infographic are…

The 411 on Holiday Shopping

  • What time of day do you shop most?

  • Where do you shop most?

  • Do you shop for holiday gifts?

  • When do you shop for holiday gifts?

  • Do you personally celebrate the holidays or a certain holiday?

  • If you are traveling for the holidays, are you going by?

What Drives Holiday Shopping

  • If yes, what platform do the ads deliver the best interest?

  • Do you buy things based on emails from brands?

Looking Ahead

Next month we will be featuring an infographic on New Year, New You, which should be a great resource for those of you working in the health, wellness, fitness and sports industries. The start of the new year is a great opportunity to set the pace for the months ahead and what better way to message to the Gen Z audience then with our growing community of NCAA student athletes!

We understand this is a busy time of year, but we would love to connect and learn how we can be helpful in the final quarter of 2022 or in the new year. So, whether you have a last minute need or want to integrate us into your plans for New Year, New You, please reach out. The best way to connect is responding to this email directly or filling out our “how can we help” form.
