  • Role Overview:

    Our ideal candidate is an individual who can multitask in a fast-paced sports environment - coordinate and manage endorsement social media campaigns between national brands like OLIPOP, Brooks Running & Vuori and elite college athletes in an efficient manner. You must have superior attention to detail and high-level communication skills in order to succeed in this role with solid familiarity working with Excel and Salesforce.

  • Role Overview:

    We are looking for a Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced sports environment. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer (student athletes & brands) acquisition, retention, and growth through strategic marketing initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns across various channels.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive full funnel support to the organzation

    • Analyze data and insights to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

    • Manage end-to-end campaign execution across multiple channels, including digital advertising, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.

    • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to optimize user experiences that drive growth.

    • Conduct A/B tests and experiments to optimize conversion rates and performance metrics.

    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in growth marketing and apply them to our strategies.

    Desired Skills & Experience:

    • 2-3 years of experience in growth marketing or digital marketing roles.

    • Proven track record of driving user growth and/or revenue through strategic marketing initiatives.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

    • Experience with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

    • Proficiency in A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.

    • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing channels.

    • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo) is a plus.

    Help build our community of student athletes and foster long-term relationships where we are the premium NIL group of choice of NCAA student athletes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment Strategy Development: 

    • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to drive Student Athlete sign-ups across multiple channels.

    Community Building: 

    • Foster and maintain a sense of community among new and existing Student Athletes, ensuring they feel supported and engaged with the platform.

    Outreach and Partnerships: 

    • Identify, initiate, and cultivate relationships with key partners, including coaches, athletic programs, and sports organizations, to expand our reach.

    Marketing Campaigns: 

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with Student Athletes and encourage platform sign-ups.


    Data-Driven Decisions: 

    • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize strategies, improve conversion rates, and drive continual growth.

    Onboarding Experience: 

    • Oversee the onboarding process for new sign-ups, ensuring a smooth, positive, and engaging experience for each Student Athlete.

    Event Management: 

    • Plan and manage virtual and in-person events, workshops, and webinars aimed at engaging prospective Student Athletes and promoting platform growth. This includes traveling to Universities.

    • Ability to create content and be a storyteller at campus visits, events and more for 98Strong to leverage across their channels and showcase our work to clients.

    Cross-Department Collaboration: 

    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and client services teams to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives and deliver a seamless user experience.

    Student Athlete Advocacy: 

    • Serve as a key advocate for Student Athletes, ensuring their needs, interests, and feedback are incorporated into platform updates and community initiatives.
